FIWM, the Foundation shows the best of the collection of Madoi's artworks received at the time of its establishment, in 2007. The Biography area narrates of Madoi, of his life as a person and artist, and the Foundation, as Institution, is shown by the many Events and Exhibitions patronized and sponsored since our personal awakening - as far as Madoi's art is concerned - around 2002. A mini book store contains our production of catalogues and books. Amazing is Madoi's Red e-Book, a FIWM production.
A self portrait of Madoi towers over this space, as signature, memento of all the stories, sad or happy ones, that gave origin of these creations.
Going up on the second floor, visitors are enveloped in Madoi's projects, the fortunate ones and the others that could not see their realizations. Visitors can enter Sesta, the small village Madoi painted in 1964, can breath the most intense moments of the Vetrata in Turin, of the Monumento alla Sofferenza, of the great Apse painted in fresco in Parma and a lot more. Each one has its space, with wide panels filled with our comments and scripts coming from Madoi's diaries. Even us, grown up eating art as daily dessert, having witnessed any sort of Madoi's art/life expressions, are still astonished, moved in approaching to such a pathos, to Madoi's poignant interpretation of life. We will never get used to this.
