CIGARETTES & CHAMPAGNE

Cigarettes and Champagne in a forever party toasting with and puffing in the face of his personal ghosts, like the ones in this picture, at last still and speechless once he unveiled their human looks in an immense glass wall, realized almost with the only need to get rid of them. This mix of comfort goods, as indispensable tools to say hello to new personal parties, just to celebrate real or invented reasons, were a must for Madoi. If sad, they could lift his spirit, if happy, here was the excuse for an incessant flow of the magic golden liquid and a self destructive chainsmoking process. Anything was a reason good enough to have access to his personal liturgy made of small, insignificant but important propitiatory gestures to say thanks  to the Gods. Which ones? All of them. One never knows. His cigarettes, sublime and letal companion of joys and sorrows, Champagne, as divine anesthetic in his self destructive process and last but not least, his Ghosts, should nobody else be around, were perfect to limit his time on this Planet, so strong was his need of urgency and curiosity in going further to savour the  wonders of an after life as he considered that what he had and was having in this one was widely enough. And more, anyhow, he had - almost - painted everything, as well he had devoured his life, all of it.
